Gambian life

In late 2006 in Gambia I met Mr. Music or just Modou. He was a great drum player. He tried to make a living as musician. The three ladies I shot from a taxi. And the black guy allowed me take his picture. Sometime it can be more than difficult to shoot photos in West Africa. Many gets angry. Gambia is a country with great poverty – as many in Africa. Life is a everyday struggle here. As one said to me “no matter how poor you are in your own country, your still richer than most of us here”. He couldn’t be more right. All images with Canon 5D and 24-105L or 70-200L.
